Which PowerPoint Presentation Should You Use?
Which PowerPoint Presentation Should You Use?Any instructor who has experienced a successful Chemistry presentation should be aware of the importance of the PowerPoint presentation. Because it is one of the most commonly used tools in the teaching and learning process, it needs to be used with care. There are many ways to display a Chemistry slide show and some are better than others. By knowing what works and what doesn't, you can always make sure that the presentation is going to be effective and make it go over well with your students. You should always remember that you are teaching your students to study and they need to see that chemistry slides are as educational as they come. As long as the presentation is an effective and appropriate way to present the material, it is likely to remain engaging and informative. When designing a presentation, there are two different approaches you can take. One approach is to keep things simple and the other is to make things too complicated.Si mple presentations are easy to create and are usually going to be better for beginners. They will be simpler to follow and understand, and they do not require much of your time to organize. For the more advanced presentation, you may want to think about having more than one slide and breaking the presentation up into parts. This will allow you to make a more refined introduction of the topic and to use the slides for various step by step approaches to the material. In designing a slide show, try to stay away from using the same slides over again. You should focus on presenting your material in different ways so that it will look like it was presented differently in different places in the presentation. If you have different presentations for different stages of the material, it will be easier for your students to remember what you are presenting. There are different types of presentations you can choose from depending on whether you are giving your lecture on the lecture table or on t he slide show. The former requires less time to set up, but it is usually harder to look at. The lecture table has a larger surface area and there is no need to make it easy to read. However, if you are giving the presentation in front of the class, the PowerPoint presentation is probably going to be the best option.Slide shows are the second option. As the name implies, they consist of slides that fit onto a slide show. The advantage of this type of presentation is that it is more visually attractive than the lecturing version. It also allows for an open-ended approach to the material, which is useful if you are trying to cover a number of topics in the lesson. If you are going to give a Chemistry slides show to your students, they will definitely appreciate the effort you put into making it appealing. You may want to give them the slides in different formats such as PowerPoint and Word, but at least they will have something to look at!

This Future Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Applies Discipline and Repetition In-and-Out of the Classroom
This Future Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Applies Discipline and Repetition In-and-Out of the Classroom This Future Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Applies Discipline and Repetition In-and-Out of the Classroom Jake, 10-years-old, Math Level I 10-year-old Jake is far from your ordinary 5th grade student, as heâs currently working on algebraic concepts such as the multiplication of polynomials and quadratic functions in the Kumon Math Program. Jake began his Kumon journey five years ago, and since then his tenacity and commitment have been a driving force in his academic achievements. Studying above his peers, Jake finds that he can now complete his schoolwork with ease. He has already set a long-term goal of becoming a future dermatologist. As a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Jake knows that thereâs a level of discipline and repetition required to become stronger. That same level of discipline and repetition he applies in his practice of jiu-jitsu, is what he has learned from Kumon. âKumon requires a lot of discipline and I apply that to my practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,â said Jake. âSome days I donât feel like training, but itâs the discipline Iâve learned through Kumon that gets me to practice every day. When I learn a new jiu-jitsu technique, I drill the same move repeatedly until my body can do it without even thinking. This is like the repetition in Kumon and how it helps increase my speed and agility in math.â Jake has been practicing the art of jiu-jitsu for just over four years and has competed in various local tournaments. In the last year, Jake competed in five local jiu-jitsu tournaments. His commitment to daily practice has helped him place first in nine of the ten matches. Outside of the classroom, and aside from competing in his next jiu-jitsu tournament, Jake is an accomplished pianist. He is proud to have received the recognition of âTop Talentâ in 2018 from the National Guild of Piano Teachers audition. The National Guild of Piano Teachers is the worldâs largest non-profit organization of piano teachers and students. The guild provides musicians with various levels of experience goals and awards through non-competitive auditions. In Jakeâs audition, he had the challenge of performing ten memorized pieces. The elements that were judged included accuracy, technique, dynamics, and tone quality. Jakeâs hard work and discipline didnât go unnoticed, as he was one of 55 students selected to attend the 2018 Kumon Student Conference in Calgary, Canada. We had the opportunity to speak to Jake about his Kumon journey. How has Kumon helped you academically? Kumon has improved my speed and accuracy in math so much that I can now complete my school assignments more efficiently. This allows me to spend more time with subjects I want to improve in, such as language arts and social studies. What do you enjoy most about Kumon? I really enjoy the feeling of progressing through each level in Kumon. Getting through each level takes time and hard work, so itâs a huge accomplishment to get to the next level. If you could sum up your Kumon experience in one word, what would it be? Challenging. Whatâs the most beneficial thing youâve learned from Kumon so far? The most beneficial thing Iâve learned in Kumon is to never give up. Iâve learned that because I didnât give up during challenging moments, I worked through them instead. I will always continue to improve in math as time goes on. What did it mean to you attending the Student Conference? I am so happy that I had the opportunity to attend the Student Conference because it showed my family how well I am doing in Kumon. It showed me that Kumon will take me to far and great places! What advice do you have for other Kumon Students? Donât give up! You will be ahead in school, and thatâs such a great feeling! Discover even more student success stories. Happy National Handwriting Day!
Happy National Handwriting Day! Today is National Handwriting Day and it is a great opportunity to put aside keyboards and to reintroduce you to the lost art of handwriting. The Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association initiated National Handwriting Day in 1977 in order to promote the consumption of stationery, writing paper, pens and pencils. January 23rd was chosen because it is John Hancocks birthday. John Hancock was President of the Second Continental Congress, first Governor of Massachusetts, and the first person to sign the United States Declaration of Independence. John Hancock is remembered for his prominent signature on the Declaration of Independence, which is so imposing and easily recognizable, that his name became a synonym for âsignatureâ in the United States. The purpose of National Handwriting Day is to emphasize the importance of handwriting. Writing by hand (unlike typing) engages more parts of the brain because it requires you to shape each letter instead of creating a letter by touching a key. Writing by hand entails practicing the swirls and connections by use of the brain and motor functions which activates even more cognitive abilities. Furthermore, writing by hand stimulates attention focusing and creativity which is essential for active and productive learning and work. Every person has a unique handwriting. There are differences even in handwriting of identical twins. The peculiarities of handwriting, such as size of letters, spacing between letters and pressure to the paper, reveal details about the writerâs character, his or her emotional state and other important information. So, handwriting, by nature, is one of the ways for creativity and personal expression. A handwritten text contains not just abstract information but also a reflection of the writerâs personality. Nothing can replace the sincerity of the handwritten word. So take a day off from the cyber community and computers. Take a pen or a pencil and experience the joy and intimacy of handwritten letters, notes and cards. We wish you a Happy National Handwriting Day! How to Make Your Own Homemade Sweetener With a Variety of Sources Available
How to Make Your Own Homemade Sweetener With a Variety of Sources AvailableThe world of sugar has been revolutionized by the latest trends in food technology and the latest trends in HFCS or High Fructose Corn Syrup. Not only is HFCS an affordable replacement for sugar, it also offers much higher nutritional value compared to the two types of sugar. However, the current level of scientific and research is not enough to come up with a complete guide on HFCS and its current popularity. Before you know how to make your own homemade sweetener, you must be able to understand how it is made. The process of hydrogenation can be done manually or automatically. Manually hydrogenating HFCS will take about twenty minutes while the automatic procedure will take about thirty minutes. The robots that are currently available are either capable of doing the hydrogenation manually or they use a mixture of heaters and carbon dioxide gas to get the right levels of sugar and carbon dioxide in the right p roportions.Once the ingredients are prepared, a variety of different sugar suppliers will be able to supply the chemical precursors required to make the product. These chemicals can be obtained from sources such as food processing plants, refineries, and also chemical laboratories. They are typically shipped via air freight as well. The precursors are then used to obtain high molecular weight polysaccharides (HMWs) which are used to prepare the basic recipe for the actual sugar mixture. However, many-times-over source is always important when it comes to the complex science of the hydrogenation of sugars. Many of the chemicals and precursors are necessary for the production of hydrogen. So, before you can begin the process of making your own sweetener, you need to consider all these factors in order to derive the right process and the right method.Hydrogenization chemistry can be performed with the help of a plant-based product, which can be grown using fermentation equipment athome. A variety of enzymes can be used to create the chemical precursors that you will be using. Besides the enzyme, the fermenter must have certain characteristics such as the right temperature and a lack of oxygen for creating the right combination of things. When using a fermenter, you should also use a very fine mesh screen, because it helps filter out the excesses of the gas, which is the real enemy of the enzymes. Once you use the enzymes and the proper mix of fermenting equipment, the end result is sweet and flavorful. This is a step by step process and you will need to do your homework on how to make your own homemade sweetener. You can now enjoy your favorite sweetener and have the knowledge on how to make your own. By doing your homework, you can now save a lot of money on the ingredient cost and the delivery costs, so you can finally enjoy the best quality product at affordable prices. In fact, you will discover that this process can now produce sweeteners that are much cheaper than even the best brand name products.
